I'm ace.

Nice review of the latest Dandy here: Broken Frontier.
Extra nice because it bigs me up massively! Pick up this issue of the Dandy because it also features a Bananaman strip written by me.

Super

This cartoon appears in the current issue of the Spectator. One of a number of superhero ones I've done recently. Must be the influence of the Avengers film.

Preview time

Well, howdy-doody. Three previews for you in this post. Look out for my new strip Useleus, drawn by the inimitable and infamous Wilbur Dawbarn in The Phoenix, which is a comic that is difficult to find. Here they have done a piece about it and you can see a bit more than a smidge of the artwork. Kapow! And also in more news, I've just put the finishing touches to the last episode of Nuke Noodle for a while. Episode 48, in fact. That's a lot of pages I've drawn of time travel fighting antics! Here's a sneak peak of that.
Look out for my new strip in the Dandy. It's called 'Grrrls!'Here's the final preview-a section from an early page of character sketches!

Blue and red

My latest published cartoon, which is in the current issue of Prospect magazine. I was happy with this idea and glad it found a home.

How to draw Nuke Noodle

Click here to see a video The Dandy have just uploaded to their youtube channel wherein I explain how to draw Nuke engaged in an act of extreme violence.

Cartoon flurry

Three from Private Eye magazine. Not that happy with the first two, really, but the third one I am very fond of.

Nuke meets Black Bob

Black Bob, the Dandy Wonder dog gets resurrected in the next episode of my strip 'Nuke Noodle'. If you don't remember Black Bob, he was a sheepdog in scotland who's owner, Andrew Glenn, used to fall down a well every week. Bob would then contrive to rescue him using his doggie intuition before capturing some poachers. In my strip, that whole dynamic is ripped up and strewn across the glen, then stomped to little bits. People who are nostalgic for the kind of comics they read as a kid (there seem to be a few on the internet lately. Shouldn't they be using the post?) are gonna hate it.
